If you had no opportunity yet to hear the Software Defined Radio signals 'live' then you don't know what you are missing!

For you enjoyment Tasa YU1LM - who is designer of Genesis G40 - have recorded an audio file taken during the ARRL CW Contest in February 2009.

To be able to hear the recording, first download PowerSDR SR40 Software and then set it up as per instruction outlined here.

For the next 5 or so minutes you will be able to tune up and down the band and to listen to over 400 signals including authors two way contact with K2Z as they've been heard at YU1LM end. Feedback  FEEDBACK

Feedback  "I just received my Genesis kit here in Atlanta, Ga. in less than ONE week. That is just incredible service. I was very worried about purchasing a kit from the other side of the globe, but no worries at all. Nick answers the E-mails very quickly. I look forward to the next kit release." Chuck WA6LTV/4

Feedback  "Modern day, state-of-the-art kit at a fair price. Prompt shipping" Bob, K9FOH

Feedback  "The purpose of these sorts of kits is to be a platform from which Amateurs can do experimentation in software-defined radio. With SDR, experimentation consists of writing better software for modulation and demodulation of signals. One can do this with multi-thousand dollar radios, or spend as little as $40. I looked at the schematics for this one (Genesis G40) and was quite impressed at what they were able to do for a very affordable price. On paper, it looks like a good balance between cost, complexity and simplicity." Ed Hare W1RFI on QRZ.com

Feedback  "Very exciting product." KB6NU Ham Radio Blog
